Two things happened this week that brought this list about. First, I gave the cutie a new robe for his birthday and the second, I finished my current reread. I'm not picking up another book until I've finished proof reading another authors story [Soon, I'm going to blog about some of these because they are great!] So, yes, this week its about book. More specifically, 13 places I have them stored and ready to be read.
1. Dining room
2. Living room
3. Downstairs hallway
4. Kitchen
5. Study
6. The Cutie’s robe [also known as The Library] hanging on the bathroom door.
7. Attic
8. My backpack, with so much tooing and froing, the pocket pc [also my ebook reader] w/1G card holding over 1000 books stays has been left here.
9. My car, in the emergency basket
10. Cutie’s car
11. My Mom’s house, in my old room, above the closet.
12. My in-laws, in the Cutie’s room in his old dresser.
13. The most obvious place of all…current read on the beside table.

Wow! I confine *my* books to my office and bedroom unless I'm currently reading it.
Note the emphasis on MY. The kids' books are all over, and the Tour Manager's stay in his office. Mostly.
Happy TT; can't wait to hear about these other authors and their books...
Hi Tilly,
Looks like you're never far from a good book. I'm a bit like that with magazines!
I've moved so many times in the past 20 years and with each upheaval, a book purge was necessary. But since settling in the new house (which I've NO intention of EVER leaving) I've managed to accumulate over 200 books and so far have them confined to office, bedroom, bathroom and kitchen. So far...
and btw - Bermuda sand runs the gammet from very fine to grainy, depending on the beach. The grainy beaches are prettier because the color is so deep - almost purple.
Bwah! I have books stashed everywhere too. They're the one thing I can't bring myself to give away (don't even mention throw away).

man are these all copies of the same book or different books all at once?
I have books stashed all over the house so I can totally relate.
Thanks for visiting my TT. See ya next week, XINE
woman after my own heart - books, books everywhere!
Lol! That's awesome. I've got books in every room in my house. I don't have any in the car... and I should, I think!
Thanks for stopping by my blog and for sharing your hiding spots!
I think I have books in all those places, except for at the in-laws.
LOL. Sounds like the lot of us are junkies!
Yeah, I have books all over the house as well. In fact, when house hunting, one criteria was a big enough room for an office with loads of wall space for bookshelves. And I travel with my PDA which has 100's more books on it!
I tend to loan a lot of my books after reading so I rarely have more than my bookshelves can handle. But other than being there, I usually have books in my purse and my bedside table.
Happy TT!
When I bought my new house, I made sure I had a room just for my books. Heh! The room is lined with shelves just for them.
Heh. Mine was under the bed. I was going nuts looking for it. I also found a JR Ward book there. Weird.
Wow. I try to keep mine in my office, but there are some in the bedroom, and the guestroom, and the living room. And the hubby's are in his office.
I can't wait to have a real library in my house someday (though I suppose if I have room I'll still simply outgorw it).
LOL!! You forgot the refigerator.
There are few rooms that are properly decorated if they don't have a book in them.
You are indeed a book-aholic! Funny TT, especially the comments! :-)
I hope you make it up to your attic with regularity if you're storing books there - otherwise how will they ever be read?
You must have a lot of books! :)
I store my books everywhere too. I'm on a mission this year to find some of those places and read the books I stashed. LOL.
Sounds like the only place you left out was a little waterproof box outside, but then you could just conveniently grab one on the way - during warm weather.
