Hump Day Hottie is Wet and Formal!

I may not be a fan of the white tux, kind of reminds me of a prom date who wore light blue - yes, seriously, he wore LIGHT BLUE!, but I guess it matches his tighty whities.

Thank you Homotography for sharing Albert Reed as photographed by Matthias Vriens-McGrath for the Numero Homme S/S 2009 edition.

Hump Day Hottie is all about the hair, well, mostly about the hair

There are times when my hair is having a bad day and then there are weeks, no, months when it's just not working for me.  Well, I'm working on months and because I'm not happy with my hair, I noticed this man's hair looked coolishly different - almost like its on fire - before I realized he was hot as well.

Sorry about that Clark Mallon as taken by Dimitris Theocharis and found on Homotography.

A hint of a cowboy for Hump Day!

Sometimes just a hint is enough - is that an Apollo's Belt I see?

Thinking About Kiwis on this Hump Day!

For the past couple of weeks I've had a New Zealand tv series playing on Netflix while I work.  The show is fabulous fun and it has me thinking about the hunkiest of hunks from the land of Kiwis, Jonah Lomu!

Oh those legs!

He played rugby and led a seriously mean haka [here's great clip on YouTube of the All Black's vs Tonga who have their own pre-game ritual], both of which were on my mind when I wrote New Zealand in my An Invitation to the World series - specifically, one of the two retired rugby heroes, Maori hunk Timu Tuhaere.

You can buy An Invitation to the World: Russia and New Zealand at Whiskey Creek Press TorridAll RomanceBN

How some handsome hunk ends up a Hump Day Hottie here on Hot Thoughts Blog

You'd think it would be easy.  A hot guy is found and posted, done, but no, my mind often makes it a more convoluted process.  In the case of today's man, the gorgeous Scotsman Gerard Butler, it started in a completely different direction.

The kick off point for me was actually trying to figure out when was the Ides of March - 3, 5, 7, 15 were all mentioned - as a relatives 60th birthday was around then.  The relative is English so the mind twittered over there and I wondered who our First Footer was this year because we weren't in jolly 'ol where it was a more common activity - at least it is in the North.  From there I thought of Scotland and how the Dressed to Kilt fashion show was coming soon (April), that's when Gerard Butler who'd been in the back of my mind from the 300 movie came forward.  The man is handsome, but when he wore a leather kilt and pink shirt while carrying a sword, well, he took it to another level.

Now, the other day on Pinterest - love that place, someone posted today's Hump Day Hottie pic and it is actually my favorite of him...so here's Gerard Butler, enjoy!

A Fabulously Fascinating Leap Day Note

Have you ever heard of Adolph Blaine Charles David Earl Frederick Gerald Hubert Irvin John Kenneth Lloyd Martin Nero Oliver Paul Quincy Randolph Sherman Thomas Uncas Victor William Xerxes Yancy Zeus Wolfeschlegelsteinhausenberdorft Sr.?

The gentleman was born in Germany and later emigrated to the US, Philadelphia in specific, where is set up as a typesetter.  His full name, a Christian name starting with each letter of the alphabet happens to make his name the longest at 746 letters used by a single person.  The shortened version he went by was Hubert Blaine Wolfeschlegelsteinhausenbergerdorff, Sr. (or Wolfe+585, Senior).

While all that is interseting, what actually brought him to my attention was his birthday - February 29 1904.  He was a leap day baby with a wonderfully long name that, when at its shortest, is even cooler!  Wolfe+585, Senior!

I wish I could find a photo of him and I'd post it...love this fabulously fascinating leap day fact, but because it's Hump Day, I thought I'd post Antonio Sabato, Jr. who was born on February 29 1972 and is a sexy 10 years old.

A Favorite Hump Day Reflection [NSFW]

Tony Ward by Dimitris Theocharis
as posted at Homotography
I have enjoyed sharing a variety of hump day hotties for a few years now and I admit it, Tony Ward is one of my favorites and he was also the second to last one I posted in 2011 with this wicked cowboy.

Nice!

By the way, did you notice the tattoo on his left bicep?  It's a geisha and this pic was posted in celebration of the Konnichiwa Cowboy release - yeah, a cowboy and a geisha...double cool!

Rugby's Wolfman - oh my!

Australian rugby league player David Williams and 25 years old and he possesses a full Grizzly Adams beard. His nickname used to be Wolfman, probably from the messy hair and beard.

He's cute, but hot?

One day his best friend, Michael Roberts, shaved him live on a TV show and guess what there was behind all that hair?

Serious hotness!

Hump Day Beauty in Motion

Above is the British model David Gandy, often an inspiration for my heroes, as taken by Mariano Vivanco.  If found it on Homotography and it's in Attitude magazine.

By the way, a picture book called David Gandy by Dolce and Gabbana with photography by Mariano Vivanco is now available and very pricey - you might want to check out Homotography for a hint of what you see inside.

Fashionable Hump Day Hottie

So you know, recently I've been working on my Passion for Fashion and Bondage series and loving it all over again - hence all the fashionable blogs lately.

Besides reworking and rereleasing the original three [Leather Bride, Tamed and Gilded Cage], I'm also writing the fourth [Kept] which is based in Milan.

Further down the to-do list and currently in the research phase is another which will have a moment or two on Savile Row and, drum roll please, possibly a historical!

Meanwhile, to get your fashion love juices flowing, please meet and enjoy Ozwald Boateng, modern day Savile Row designer and hottie!

A NFL Hump Day Treat

This pic of Clay Matthews of the Green Bay Packers depicts why I'm thrilled the lockout from earlier this year was resolved.  Did you know Matthews was born a So Cal boy and later became a Trojan?  Nice!

Thank you Muscle and Fitness Magazine for picking such a wonderful photo for your cover, although I prefer it without all the words covering the subject.  It's also nice to see, I mean know, how fit these players are sans pads.

By the way, you can enjoy the cover models gallery from the shoot here - again, ta very much, Muscle and Fitness!

B/W and Steaming Hump Day

There are plenty of words that come to mind with this picture of Nik Thakkar as photographed by Joseph Sinclair and seen on Homotography, but I'm saving them for a story.

Hump Day Reflections

Huntington Beach US Surfing Open 2011 by Pedro Szekely
A surfer is a lean mean fighting machine who manipulates and masters Mother Nature with every twist, turn and flying leap!  It's a beautiful sport to watch, plus it means sitting on the beach checking out the guys in sleek rubber suits or tunks staying on by defying gravity - can't be bad!

Missing in Paradise with its retired professional surfer, occassional big wave and more often any other wave riding hero, releases September 7th at Ellora's Cave.

Recognize Him?

It's that Scottish hunk Gerard Butler taking part in charity football match!

Long hair looks pretty good on him and, dang, those abs are not to bad either.  Anyone know what role he's pumping up to play next?
