Beef and Chanel, who knew they'd mix so well, but Art Center College of Design in Pasadena student Nancy Wu managed to pull it off with style!

No, I wouldn't buy this bag - I'm not into labels or jerky - but I see a story potential here:  A cowboy is asked to add some legitimacy to a western photoshoot for a top Parisian haute couture designer and ends up falling for the model wearing the gowns.

I've said it before, but I'll say it again:  Inspiration is everywhere and I found this one in the Daily Mail.

Inspiration Shared

As I'm writing or finished with a project, I'll often share what inpsired the plot, characters, etc, but this time it's different.  This time I'm going to share the inspiration and we'll see if anything comes of it.  So here you go, The Octopus Chair by Maximo Riera.

Elegant and yet eerie.  Maybe something for next Halloween.

Book Talk!

I am one of those women who love a variety of sports and so this is an interesting time for me. You see, this is the time of year when some sports are coming into their season and others are ending. Whether championships or games where they players are still finding their rhythm as a team, the games are good fun to watch.

Okay, now you know a secret of mine, you won't be surprised to know sports have shown up in a few of my books. They are:

When I create my characters, usually I look for someone or something to inspire my imagination to build upon.

Highland Heat has recently been released and this month's Eye Candy on my website is images that inspired his appearance - mainly his hair was what I needed help with. Anyway, the man, Gabriel Aubrey, is one of the men I used for Hamish Buchanan.
