Big Huge Reader Contest - Day 14!

Maui Rekindled by Ari Thatcher
Buy eBook from Ellora's Cave
Contemporary Erotic Romance

“I’ll call you.” That’s the last thing Gabe said fifteen years ago as Maggie prepared to fly home from a summer in paradise. When he didn’t call, she packed away the memories of their sexual romp and relegated him to vacation-fling status.

Now, as the ink on her divorce papers dries, Maggie returns to that Maui resort hoping to find the carefree woman she once was. When Gabe walks out of the waves on her first afternoon at the beach, she isn’t sure whether to laugh or run away. Hot, crazy vacation sex with no strings attached would be the perfect remedy for her bloody divorce.

Gabe thinks of Maggie as the one who got away, and he’s not about to let it happen again. The passion between them is as fiery as ever, but is it hot enough to rekindle the romance he knows they could share?

He’s got one week to prove to her it is.

I know it's cliche, but I adore The One Who Got Away stories. Something about that-working through whatever happened in the past to have a sexy romance now-really works. Course I also adore stories with sexy new romances, but hey. Apparently it's easy to please me. ;)

Do you/did you live in Hawaii? Or do you just really love the locale?

Happy Birthday - one month early. Saw on you blog "My first taste of vacation romance came in Hawaii." Do you take small events like this and make stores? Often wondered where authors get the start of a books.

Makes you wonder if gabe tried finding her after their vacay fling. Downloaded the prequel to check out what happened before.

A perfect setting for a story. You always wonder about the one that got away, and whether they can ever reconnect

Thanks, everyone for stopping by! Cathy, I'm glad you loved Gabe. Maui is definitely one of the beautiful places on this planet.

To answer questions, I haven't lived in Maui but have visited. Some of the connections I made on my first visit had me wondering what would happen if I ran into a vacation crush. It's sometimes hard to reconnect when so much growth has occurred in our lives!

Hi Ari,
Thanks for the freebie prequel. Now I have to know why Gabe didn't call Maggie. If he liked her so much when they first met, then why didn't he follow thru on his phone call promise? Anyway, I guess I will have to read it to find out:)
